The Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ “Visa on Arrival” page imposes the requirement that non-exempt foreign nationals intending to obtain a visa at Iranian international airports submit an electronic visa application and present the approved Grant Notice at the airport counter; it is the operative statement of how the entry-visa obligation for ordinary tourism is discharged.
The passage states that ordinary passport holders of these 27 countries may stay in Iran for tourism for a non-extendable 15 days once every six months without obtaining a visa, which is the visa-free entitlement for each listed issuer.
