The Government of the Philippines announces that Chinese nationals may enter the Philippines without a visa for a non-extendible and non-convertible period of 14 days for tourism and business purposes, subject to the following conditions:
Presentation of a passport valid for at least six (6) months beyond the intended stay; Confirmed hotel accommodation or booking; and A return or onward ticket to the next country of destination.
Entry under this visa-free privilege shall be allowed only through the following designated ports of entry:

Commonwealth Act No. 613, the Philippine Immigration Act of 1940, creates the visa obligation: Section 10 requires every nonimmigrant to present a valid passport visa on admission and Section 50(b) makes that requirement reach every alien, defined as any person not a citizen of the Philippines. EO 408 and the DFA list are exemptions from that statutory requirement.
The DFA page states that Chinese nationals may enter without a visa for 14 days effective 16 January 2026, subject to conditions including entry only through the designated ports of NAIA and Mactan-Cebu.
