  • DMA (Dominica) also holds a second, narrower in-force entitlement: 14 days for holders aged over 55 under Decree 464 Annex 2 point 6 (row vf55). The 90-day grant on this row governs, because the bilateral Agreement is the more generous entitlement in force and applies to every ordinary-passport holder with nothing extra required; the 14-day grant does not govern because it is confined to holders aged over 55.

Aevamo’s reading

Government Decree No. 464 of 26.10.2021, in the wording of Decree No. 190 of 28.03.2024, CREATES the obligation: its Article 1 approves the two annexed lists ("Утвердить Перечень...") and Article 5 brings it into force on 1 January 2022, so it is the instrument that imposes the unilateral visa-free entitlement rather than one describing it. The consular.tj tables and the MFA news pages report that position and are cited only to supply facts the decree cannot contain: the Iran MOU commencement, the Dominica agreement commencement, the per-passport-class breakdown for states covered by bilateral treaties, and the 140-country airport-visa procedure.

The MFA announcement reports that the Tajikistan-Dominica agreement entered into force on 17 July 2025, granting holders of ordinary passports visa-free entry and stay for 90 days.

What this answer covers Limits & assumptions

Work and residence rights are separate from this check. This is the entry rule and the length of stay the instrument grants. It is not a decision about you: the officer at the border decides admission, and we do not evaluate the purpose of your trip, your passport's remaining validity, an onward ticket, funds, insurance or health requirements.
