Before you travel: you need an e-visa. The authorisation itself is valid 90 days, that is not how long you may stay.
You may stay up to 6 months.

Conditions:
- Notwithstanding the visa requirement, a person resident in the United States of America who arrives directly from that country, produces a valid United States Alien Registration Card and a return or round-trip ticket may be permitted to enter and remain for a period not exceeding thirty days (regulation 8(3)).
- A person resident in Canada who arrives directly from the United States of America or Canada, provides proof of permanent residence or landed immigrant status in Canada, and produces a return or round-trip ticket may be permitted to enter and remain for a period not exceeding thirty days (regulation 8(4)).
- A person resident in the United Kingdom who arrives directly from the United Kingdom, provides proof of permanent residence or landed immigrant status in the United Kingdom, and produces a return or round-trip ticket may be permitted to enter and remain for a period not exceeding thirty days (regulation 8(5)).
- A person who is authorised by a work permit to work in the Islands, or is named in a work permit as a dependant, or is exempted from the work-permit requirement under section 53 of the Immigration (Transition) Act, or has permission to reside permanently, or holds a valid re-entry permit is not required to produce a visa even if a national of a visa-required country (regulation 7(3) and the CBC's published exemptions).

> Unless exempted by this Act, every person entering and leaving the Islands shall, if required to do so by an officer, produce for inspection a relevant passport or some other valid document establishing the identity and nationality or place of permanent residence of such person to the satisfaction of the officer, and, in such cases as may be prescribed, a relevant visa.
