Anordning nr. 150/2001, consolidated as BEK nr. 184 af 14. februar 2025, brings the Danish Aliens Act into force for Greenland and itself creates the visa regime: § 4 requires a visa for every alien not exempt, § 3 grants visa-exempt aliens a stay of up to 3 months, § 1 exempts Nordic citizens, and § 39, stk. 2 delegates the detailed visa-exemption rules. The ministry overview merely publishes the nationality list under that framework.
The ministry overview is the official publication of the visa-exempt nationalities list; its preface extends the overview to Greenland where the legal basis is the same, and its note 5 names EU Regulation 2018/1806 Annex II as the underlying list. The Udlændingestyrelsen guidance confirms that anyone entering Denmark visa-free may also enter Greenland visa-free, so these nationals need no visa for Greenland.
