- Visa exemption for these nationalities applies only to holders of biometric passports (for Georgia, only national passports); non-biometric passports have not been valid for foreign travel since 1 March 2012.
- The 3-month stay is reduced by any time the traveller has already spent in Greenland, the Faroe Islands, Denmark or another Nordic country within the 6 months before entry.

Anordning nr. 150/2001, consolidated as BEK nr. 184 af 14. februar 2025, brings the Danish Aliens Act into force for Greenland and itself creates the visa regime: § 4 requires a visa for every alien not exempt, § 3 grants visa-exempt aliens a stay of up to 3 months, § 1 exempts Nordic citizens, and § 39, stk. 2 delegates the detailed visa-exemption rules. The ministry overview merely publishes the nationality list under that framework.
The overview's section IV.2 lists these nationalities as exempt when holding biometric passports, and the same overview is extended to Greenland by its preface, so holders of biometric passports from these countries enter Greenland visa-free.
