UU No. 6 Tahun 2011 on Immigration is the law whose Article 8(2) creates the obligation that every foreigner entering Indonesia hold a valid visa unless exempted; the BVK facility (Perpres 95/2024) and the VOA facility (Permenkumham 22/2023 as amended) are exemptions from that obligation.

The page's heading 'Daftar Negara ... Bebas Visa Kunjungan' followed by these nineteen country/territory names is the Directorate General of Immigration's own list of the subjects granted visa-free visit entry; Perpres 95/2024 Article 3(2) fixes that stay at 30 days.
