Conditions:
- The traveller must fall in one of the listed categories: business and trade official, prospective investor, tourist, member of defence or security forces with prior Ministry of Home Affairs clearance, spouse or child of a foreign citizen of Bangladeshi origin, or officer or staff of a foreign embassy or UN body in Bangladesh.
- Except for those on government duty, the traveller must carry at least USD 500 (or the equivalent) in cash or a credit card, and a return ticket for a short-term stay.
- The passage grants the facility at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka; the same page says the immigration officer at the point of entry (airports, land ports) grants it, and asks that the same port be used for entry and departure.
