Official wording

Nationals of the Following Countries listed below require a visa to enter the BVI. … Bona fide visitors may be granted entry for up to one month at the ports of entry, provided that they possess:

Aevamo’s reading

The Immigration and Passport Act (Cap 130) is the instrument that creates the obligation: section 20 forbids landing without the leave of an immigration officer, section 37 requires a passport and, where required, a visa to be produced, and section 37(4) empowers the Cabinet to exempt classes of persons by Order. The visa list published by the BVI London Office is the Government's own current statement of how that Act and the Visa Exemption Order made under it apply; the Order itself is unreachable because laws.gov.vg is under scheduled maintenance.

The page defines who requires a visa by exclusion; none of the issuers in this row appears in that visa-required list, so they are bona fide visitors, and the entry-requirements paragraph grants bona fide visitors entry for up to one month at the ports of entry, which is the stay this row records. The same paragraph notes that stays beyond one month require an application for an extension of up to six months.

What this answer covers Limits & assumptions

Work and residence rights are separate from this check. This is the entry rule and the length of stay the instrument grants. It is not a decision about you: the officer at the border decides admission, and we do not evaluate the purpose of your trip, your passport's remaining validity, an onward ticket, funds, insurance or health requirements.
