a citizen from a European Union Country, as long as that person is not a prohibited person, shall be permitted to enter and remain in Saint Christopher and Nevis, without the requirement of an entry visa, for a period of ninety days.

The Immigration Act creates the entry obligation: s.9(2) empowers the Minister to order that passports of nationals of listed countries bear a visa; s.14 governs how long permitted entrants (visitors) may stay; s.15 waives the visa for EU citizens; and s.4(3) grants OECS Protocol Member State citizens free movement. Section 15 of the Immigration Act grants citizens of European Union Countries visa-free entry for ninety days. The EU-KNA visa-waiver agreement (fieldSources.maxDays) defines that short stay as 90 days in any 180-day period with a moving reference period, and the eTA press release (fieldSources.advanceAuthorisation) requires every visitor to obtain an eTA before travel. The issuers are the EU member states the agreement covers (all EU members except the United Kingdom and Ireland, which the agreement expressly excludes and which appear on the general visa-free row).
