- Holders of valid diplomatic, official or special passports of Peru are entitled to a 90-day stay under the Immigration (Visa Relaxation Declaration) (Republic of Peru) Order (order 55/2007); this is a separate document-class entitlement and does not change the ordinary passport's 30 days.

The Immigration Regulations, regulation 14(1), imposes the obligation: 'Every person entering Belize as a visitor is required to have visas issued by a diplomatic or consular officer of Belize … except—' followed by the exempt classes. The same consolidation holds every Immigration (Visa Exemption) Regulation and Visa Relaxation Declaration Order made under section 8(3)(b) of the Immigration Act that names the exempt countries and their stay periods. This document creates the requirement and grants the exemptions; the department's table only reports the resulting position.
The department's table lists Peru as not requiring a visa with a 30-day stay; this is the ordinary Peruvian passport's entitlement (order 65/2016 grants the same).
